Essex Theatre's mission is to bring good, inexpensive theater to the surrounding communities,
and to provide an opportunity for local adults and youth to participate in production of plays and musicals.

Community theatre like Essex Theatre Company is where your neighbors, friends and co-workers come together to live under imaginary circumstances and share the wonder of make believe. Where both audience and performers see each other in a different light and space. Where for maybe just moments or even hours we let ourselves forget who it is we’re watching and we let the action take us to a place we haven’t gone for some time.

Essex Theatre Company has been creating moments that touch, prod and make the village laugh since 1993.
